Sivilombudsmannsloven (fullt navn: lov om Stortingets ombudsmann for forvaltningen) er en norsk lov som etablerer Stortingets ombudsmann for forvaltningen, Sivilombudsmannen. Loven ble vedtatt 22. juni 1962 og trådte i kraft 1. oktober samme år.

Sivilombudsmannsloven bestemmer at Sivilombudsmannens er Stortingets tillitsmann, med formål å søke å sikre at det i den offentlige forvaltning ikke øves urett mot den enkelte borger og bidra til at offentlig forvaltning respekterer og sikrer menneskerettighetene. Loven etablerer også Sivilombudsmannen som nasjonal forebyggende mekanisme som beskrevet i valgfri protokoll 18. desember 2002 til FNs torturkonvensjon.

The Shaftebury Brewing Company is a Craft Brewery started in Vancouver, British Columbia in 1986. Shaftebury was sold to Sleeman Sleeman Breweries in 1999. In 2014, the brand was sold to Fireweed Brewing Company .

Beers produced include; Four Twenty Brilliant Lager, Coastal Cream Ale, Wet Coast Wheat Ale, Easy Honey Pale Ale, Summer Days Premium Pilsner, and Winter Nights Black & Tan.

Shaftebury was started in 1986 by Tim Wittig and Paul Beaton, two young entrepreneurs who cottoned on to the idea of starting a microbrewery in Vancouver for fun and profit. Sales were originally limited to draft in the Vancouver area, where they became popular among fans of British-style ales. Shaftebury taps are instantly recognizable, as they feature a porcelain bald brewing-guy with apron. By late 1995, growth prompted a move from within Vancouver to a new facility in the nearby suburb of Delta. With the purchase of the company by Sleeman Breweries in early 1999, the Delta plant shut down and production moved on up to the Okanagan Spring brewery in Vernon. The Delta brewery equipment was sold to Fireweed Brewing and moved to Kelowna.

The West Coast interpretation of the cream ale can be traced back to one brand: Shaftebury Cream Ale.[citation needed]

Tim Wittig was the co-founder and co-owner of Shaftebury along with Paul Beaton from 1986 until 1999, when the brewery was sold to Sleeman. When Wittig and Beaton started the brewery they enlisted the help of John Mitchell, the brewer who had set up . The Shaftebury team had gone around and tasted a number of beers in order to zero in on the flavour that they would like to have in the Shaftebury brands. They were particularly drawn to one of Mitchell’s beers: and English Mild, which was called Mount Tolmie dark. They therefore decided to model the Shaftebury beer recipe after this English Mild. Wittig explains that the original Shaftebury Cream Ale was dark brown: “At the time when we made it, it had a completely different flavour. It was 4.8 alcohol by volume and it got its dark colour from the chocolate and crystal malt that we imported from England.”

As it turns out, the choice to call this beer a cream ale was an arbitrary one. Wittig had heard the term cream ale before. The Genesee Cream Ale waterproof phone bag, brewed in Rochester, New York, was quite popular when he was a young boy. He doesn’t recall associating the term cream ale with a style, though: “We didn’t even know a lot about beer, honestly.” he explains. “It was just strictly a name that we had had exposure to and we thought sounded cool. It was not based on a style at all which probably drives people crazy.” In fact, the Shaftebury version did so well in Vancouver that, for most beer drinkers, it was the brand most closely associated with the term cream ale.

Bates was born in Oxford to a mother who taught French and a physician father, and grew up in Hackney and Taunton, and has an older sister and a younger brother. Her parents divorced when Bates was in her twenties. She read English Literature at St John’s College, Cambridge and graduated from Cambridge University in 2007. Bates remained in Cambridge for two and a half years as a researcher for the psychologist Susan Quilliam who was working on an updated edition of The Joy of Sex.

Bates then worked as an actress and a nanny, a period in which experienced sexism at auditions and found the young girls she was caring for were already preoccupied with their body image. The Everyday Sexism project website was founded in 2012. Bates told the Financial Times journalist Lucy Kellaway in 2014 about “having a guy in a car slow down and say, ‘You walk down here every Wednesday and Thursday at about 12, don’t you?'” Bates recalled asking herself afterwards: “Is it my fault?'”

Bates told Hannah Betts, during an interview for The Daily Telegraph, in April 2014: “All feminism means to me is that everyone should be treated equally regardless of their sex. We have to get past judging women on their looks and then using that to derive some sort of idea about their agenda.” “A man can be a father, a doctor, a politician, a lawyer, without his sex being an issue or being commented on”, Bates told Anna Klassen of The Daily Beast website. “One of the nicest surprises has been the compassionate responses from men”, she wrote in The Guardian. “It’s not about men against women, but people against prejudice.”

Around the third anniversary of the website, in April 2015, Everyday Sexism had reached 100,000 entries. She has faced abuse online. “People talk about specific serial killers they admire and who they would like to emulate”, she told Lucy Kellaway youth football socks pink, “and about the different weapons that they fantasise about using on you and in what order. A contributor to other publications as well as The Guardian, Bates’ first book Everyday Sexism was published by the London subsidiary of Simon & Schuster in 2014 team football shirts. Pour cet album, le groupe collabore à la production avec Nile Rodgers (cofondateur de Chic et déjà producteur des albums Notorious et Astronaut), Mr Hudson et Mark Ronson (qui avait produit leur album précédent All You Need Is Now). On peut retrouver par ailleurs sur cet album John Frusciante (ancien guitariste des Red Hot Chili Peppers) ou encore l’Américaine Janelle Monáe. L’actrice américaine Lindsay Lohan et sa sœur Ali apparaissent également sur un morceau de l’album.

Le groupe annonce une tournée aux États-Unis et au Royaume-Uni qui coïncide avec la sortie de l’album

Le premier single est Pressure Off, en collaboration avec la chanteuse soul américaine Janelle Monáe. Il sort aux États-Unis le 19 juin 2015 Waterproof Phone Bag, sur le service Xbox Music de Microsoft. Le titre sort ensuite sur Google Music.

Critiques presse

La pochette de l’album est créée par l’artiste américain Alex Israel et le graphiste Brian Roettinger. Réalisée à la manière de collages, la pochette reprends des vignettes retraçant l’histoire du groupe : les lèvres peintes par Patrick Nagel pour l’album Rio, ainsi qu’un téléphone rose et une casquette de chauffeur qui renvoie à la dernière chanson de l’album last season football shirts, The Chauffeur. Le sumo, la silhouette féminine et le verre de champagne représentent le clip controversé du single Girls on Film, tiré du premier album du groupe. L’image du tigre rappelle le 3e album, Seven and the Ragged Tiger. Le cône de crème glacée est une référence au single Perfect Day, sur leur album de reprises Thank You. La version CD deluxe est vendue avec les autocollants à part, on peut ainsi créer sa propre pochette. La pochette de l’édition exclusive Target est quasiment la même, excepté le fond qui est tout rose.

, released by RCA Victor in mono and stereo, LPM/LSP 3643, in June 1966. Recording sessions took place at Radio Recorders in Hollywood, California, on July 26 and 27, and August 2, 1965. It peaked at number 15 on the Top LP’s chart.

Presley found himself in 1965 recording soundtrack albums for films that were almost a year away from release — gone were the days when the turnaround time from the final session for Elvis Is Back! to its arrival in the shops was less than one week. While working on this album, his most recent film in the theaters was Tickle Me, and Presley had completed three more movies since then. With titles like “A Dog’s Life” and “Queenie Wahine’s Papaya” he openly ridiculed the material, wasting time before finally approaching the microphone to do the job. He begrudgingly accepted songs given him that he would have rejected outright years earlier. He always finished the work, but in essence Presley had become a hired hand in his own career.

. Ten songs were recorded at the sessions for the soundtrack, but only nine were used in the film. The omitted song, “Sand Castles,” was included on the album to bring the running order to ten tracks. Sales for the album were under 250,000, a new low for Presley’s LP catalogue. The good news was the single issued in June 1966 two days before the album, the 1945 Victor Young standard “Love Letters” backed with Clyde McPhatter’s 1958 rhythm and blues hit “Come What May”. It made a respectable number 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, and at least reflected Presley’s actual tastes away from obligations to the soundtrack recordings. It was also his first contemporary record release in three years since “(You’re the) Devil in Disguise” in June 1963, arriving in stores less than two weeks after it was recorded.

In 2004 “Paradise, Hawaiian Style” was reissued on the Follow That Dream label in a special edition that contained the original album tracks along with numerous alternate takes.

Der Krautstrunk hat eine bauchige Form und ist, wie jedes Waldglas, von grüner oder bräunlicher Farbe. Er steht auf einem Fußring (auch Standring genannt). Auf der Wandung sind die Nuppen angebracht, die – im Gegensatz zu den feineren Beerennuppen später beim Schaft des Römers – klobig-grob unregelmäßig spitz nach oben weisen; so ein Gefäß kann dann mit etwas Fantasie aussehen wie ein kahler Weißkohlstrunk, der diesem Glastyp seinen Namen gab. Die Nuppen hatten neben ihrer dekorativen Komponente zusätzlich den praktischen Zweck, zu verhindern, dass das Glas aus der Hand fiel.

Der Krautstrunk wurde im Laufe des 16. Jahrhunderts unter Beibehaltung des Nuppendekors von einer feineren Form – schaftähnlich verlängerter Fuß und konische Wandung – abgelöst; dieser Typus heißt Berkemeyer und ist der unmittelbare Vorgänger des Römers.

Aus der Epoche des Historismus gibt es vielfältige Nachbildungen, wobei die Form nicht auf den Typus des mittelalterlichen Bechers reduziert ist. Beim Krautstrunk des 19. Jahrhunderts gibt es die Spitzennuppen vielmehr auf zahlreichen Wandungsformen in Kombination mit unterschiedlichen Fuß- und Schaftformen.

Während die historistische Variante noch häufig auf Auktionen gehandelt wird sowie zeitgenössische Repliken auf dem freien Markt erhältlich sind, ist der authentische mittelalterliche Krautstrunk in der Regel heute Museumsbestand.
